Routes / Re: ACA Denali route?

If you have never been to AK before, the Milepost is the place to start.  just keep in mind that hotels are very expensive in AK and there are some long stretches between Anchorage and the Denali park without hotels or services. 

Be sure to stop at Cubby's, mile 99 on the Parks highway, its on the corner of the Parks and Talkeetna spur road.  this is the last place to get groceries at good prices.  their deli is great and the broccoli salad is awesome.  once you get past here, prices go up quickly.

well, i believe the roads will be clear, but cold at night.  The only thing i would worry about is that most of the gas stations, and mom & pop stores will be closed for the season.  You'd have to carry more food than normal.  better check the milepost to see how many places will be closed and plan accordingly.
