Hi Bob and Jan,
As part of a tour I took from Castle Rock to Ft. Robinson NE, there were a couple of segments in eastern Colorado that were nice rides.  I took highway 86 from Castle Rock to Limon (pretty ride, lots of hills, no traffic), then up highway 71 to Brush and then Kimball NE.  The Limon to Brush segment was ok, but the Brush to Kimball part was nice.  Went through the Pawnee National Grasslands.  Maybe you could string something together.  I went in late June and wind was not much of a factor except for one day.  Good luck and happy riding.

I'm impressed with the video -- well done.

There's a good view of the tire....  I've just put Schwalbe Marathon Plus's on our Giro 20's after a event in Cherry Creek State Path involving goat heads and four flats.

I've corrected the video link - should work now. I got this TerraTrike Tour from an outfit called Utah Trikes. Angletech was not carrying this brand at the time I bought it.

I appreciate your trail photos -- the video seems to be missing.  My brother lives in Security, and now we will like come down to visit him, and ride the trails.  We have had relatives living in C. Springs area, recognized features in the distance.

Did you get your trike from Kelvin in Woodland Park?

Hello --

I'm Bob.  Janet and I live in Boulder, and have been biking for some long time.  I've done a long solo tour in the distant past, we did short tours and Ride the Rockies on a Santana tandem.  After a break in the riding, we started again, on recumbents (Bacchetta Giro 20's).  Last year, we did about 2k miles each, including a four day tour in SW Colorado (Slumgullion Pass loop from Gunnison).  We hope to do some of the rails to trails routes this year. 

We also have a cabin near Fairplay, and we'll try Roy Leinfuss's route this summer, as well as the Buena Vista Bike fest in May,
