How have you learned everything you need to do to get such a ride together? Just figure it out as you go along? Done it before? Know someone who's done it?

nope never even thought about doing this before. just kept asking people and eventually came up with an answer

Does anyone know a route from Oberlin, Ohio to Cleveland, Ohio along the Underground Railway ? I want to call it the Cleveland Spur" any help would be appreciated ?

this september I plan on taking the ugrr from Cleveland area south to Mississippi area then heading west towards Dallas I've already got my maps and all of that for the ugrr what I really need to know is which route is the safest for me to ride my recumbent trike to Dallas? keeping in mind that I have a couple of disabilities and will need to stay over night in hotels. you can check out my ride at www.mybigride09.com

I'm just trying to get the word out about my ride later this summer. read my web page for more info. but basically what I'm doing is riding my recumbent trike from Cleveland, Ohio to Dallas, Texas. for charity and to raise awareness for our returning soldiers and their families. so please if you will support me during this ride for a cause that is near and dear to my heart.

so I kind of know what is involved in the organizing of a charity ride. let me tell you one piece of advice. start early and get all of the help you can. because I needed it and it caused a bunch of sleepless nights so far and I'm sure more to come.
