I WISH TO RIDE THROUGH ALASKA

(1/2) > >>

rforest:
Coming from Europe , I wish to ride from ANCHORAGE to VANCOUVER next July .
Any advice ?
The best route ?

TRobertson:
We get this questions occasionally from folks wanting to ride
from the States, through Canada to Alaska. We suggest what
we use for tours that go to Alaska...The Milepost. Here is a
link to it on Amazon.com. It seems to be updated every year with services and has been a good resource over the years. The Milepost  ;)

I agree, purchase the "mile post" I used this information on my ride in the spring of 2001 from Missoula,Mt. to Alaska and the information was just what I needed.

forget anchorage-start from fairbanks=why miss denali national park? the denali highway? chena hot springs?
the milepost is a great guide-unfortunately it reads from south to north, so you might want to cut and paste things in a more convenient layout.
you didn't mention any time limit for your trip, or whether you wish to camp.
please check my website, or contact me.
