I have been looking on the site but I have not seen any photos or highlights of the 2007 tour. Can you please tell me where I might find these items posted.I have signed on to do the Tour this year and was interested in what I have to look foward to. Thanks. Thomas Black.

See Joy Santee's log on CGOAB.  Is the 2008 trip a go?

Hi!
Yes, I do have some pics on my CGOAB journal, but only up to the Illinois/Kentucky border.  I never had time to finish posting them.  That journal is here:

For a more complete journal, see this one (they have pics as well):

You may also be interested in the links to news stories about the ride on this page:

Hope that helps!

Joy,thanks for your blog on last years trip. After looking at your post I feel like I have already done the tour.I was at the Oberlin reception and announced then that I was going to do the Tour this year. I am glad to say that I am doing it!
I am curious about your helmet mirror. Being from Ohio I know that it is a "Chuck Harris" original, where did you get it?
  Thanks.

Hi Thomas! I thought that was probably you...I remember meeting you in Oberlin and am very glad you're getting to do the tour.  Some days I can still feel those Alabama Hills!

As for my mirror, I got it at Circle City Bicycles in Indianapolis.  Somebody once called it my Chuck Norris mirror, but I don't know if it gives me superpowers.  I'd like to find another one someday...

Well, best of luck on the rest of the tour!
Joy

Joy,the mirrors are hand made by Chuck Harris who is in the Knox County area of Ohio.He always has a vendor booth at the Hancock Horizontal Hundred ride in Findlay Ohio. I'm sure if you contact someone at www.HancockHandlebars.org they can put you in touch with Chuck. Good Luck!!
