Illinois Governor Quinn today announced grants that according to my addition total $8,602,000 for bike trails in Illinois.  Definitely makes some huge impact especially in McLean County with $1,440,000 for Route 66 trail.  Metropolis got $2,576,600 for the George Rogers Clark Discovery Trail.

Hello,

Cyclist from Euclid, OH (Cleveland). Circumnavigated Lakes Erie and Ontario (solo) back in 1998 with ACA maps. Continue to commute and ride whenever I can. Also in planning stages of Northern Tier Route for 2013. Would like to do some shorter tours in 2012.
