When did Adventure Cycling discontinue the big trips?

Did the Northern Tier and North Star with Bikecentenniel many moons ago. Now that I've got time for the Transamerica, it's gone   ??? When? Why?

There are still long self-contained trips but many have already started for the season. Once the tour starts it is removed form the tours pages so that it does not cause confusion. You can take a look at the complete tour listing from 2010 season on the following PDF file:

The above linked pdf also has the departure dates for 2010. I believe they stay similar from year to year.
