Detroit Spur?
« on: December 30, 2010, 04:21:59 pm »
Not to annoy anyone at the ACA, but I was hoping to ride the new Detroit spur in September. Originally I think I read that it was due out in February. Recently I thought I noticed a comment that it would be out next summer. Can anyone there provide any insight?

Hi,

The production work on the Underground Railroad Detroit Alternate map has begun. It is scheduled to go to the printer in June 2011 which means we'll have it in-house late July-early August. I hope that is soon enough for your September trip.

So did you ride it and what did you think?

I am thinking of doing a closed loop, Detroit to Windsor to Pt Pele to Sanduskie to Detroit, in June.

FYI: You cannot ride across the border between Detroit and Windsor. You can see the options available on the addenda for either Detroit Alternate section:
