Title: camping on the pacific coast

hello all. i am about to take a 2 month ride down the PCH and i was wondering if anyone knows about camping on the coast. whether or not i can do it for free, whether or not that means me pulling off the road and hiking into the sticks. do they police that sort of thing? thank you.

Hi,
Wild camping is possible in some areas. I talked to a few riders doing it.
In Oregon and some of California, the Hiker/Biker sites are cheap in the parks, $5 or less.
