That's good. I like that. I've done 37,000 miles (59,000 kilometers) by bicycle through nineteen countries. I have written many journals, one over 108,000 words and revised about fifty times. There was a journal on CGOAB.com written in the style of "On The Road" by Jack Kerouac. It was the most engaging journal on a cross country bicycling tour I have ever read. That and "Miles From Nowhere" by Barbara Savage.

“Nothing behind me, everything ahead of me, as is ever so on the road.” Jack Kerouac

Very cool. I'm jealous of your tripping!

Is the journal still posted on CGOAB.com? I'll also have to check out the Savage read. Thanks for th input

Nice blog, whats the word on the riders job?

As I feared...I wasn't selected. Which is both a bummer and blessing as I realized I can do the trip I want on my own bicycle.

The winners are being voted on currently and I wish them all luck!
