Title: Samsung camera with GLONASS.
Post by: zerodish on June 22, 2013, 08:55:49 am
I'd never even heard of GLONASS the Soviet Union GPS system but the new Samsung camera has it. Samsung cameras have very good low light sensors http://www.dxomark.com/index.php/Cameras/Camera-Sensor-Ratings My only quibble with the camera is touch screens don't work when wet and there are no manual buttons.  http://www.dpreview.com/news/2013/06/20/samsung-announces-galaxy-nx-mirrorless-interchangeable-lens-camera-android-4p2-jellybean-3G-4G-LTE

Satellite signal acquisition is faster with GLONASS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GLONASS) support. It is available on the entire Garmin eTrex line (10, 20, & 30). Oddly, for the Edge series, only on the 510 so far.

iPhone (http://www.apple.com/iphone/specs.html) and its camera support it as well.
