Title: Ideal Two Wheel Trailer Tongue Weight
Post by: Classtime on August 02, 2016, 11:16:26 am
I have a Carry Feeedom Large Y and would like to know what is a good weight distribution. I've pulled my surfboard and pretty heavy loads of groceries but will soon be doing an overnighter 60 miles each way and want to be efficient. I've searched and read a bunch of threads but can't find much. Opinions range from ounces to 60 percent.

I looked at their website and didn't find an answer.  I'd ask them first.

That said, the general rule is to put more weight on the front of the trailer so it tows well and doesn't go into oscillation.  Also, it's not hard to experiment with loading.
