I am looking for a LIGHTWEIGHT comfortable pair of pants that I can wear around camp. Anybody have any recommendations? Sweat Pants??

Definitely not sweat pants. For long pants, I like the cheap World Wide Sportsman zip off leg pants from Bass Pro Shop. They are light, inexpensive, and dry quickly.
I wear Nike Dri Fit running shorts in camp if it isn't cold. I think mine are the 5" inseam ones and are great to sleep in. They also double as swim trunks and underwear. They only weigh a few ounces. Also the light mesh brief allows you to air out a bit once off the bike.
If it is chilly I might wear light tights with the shorts.

North Face Rapido Pants. Elastic waist and made with similar material as Nike Dri-Fit mentioned above making them super comfy. They will pick up a little more dirt than a hard shell nylon but easy to brush off. Certainly not as bad as sweat pants. My smalls come in under 9 oz. I also plan on using these, if needed, for riding instead of carrying wind pants. They have a nice narrow fit around ankle which will keep from chain.

I've used REI convertible pants for years:

They dry fast, are reasonably warm (especially over tights), and it's shorts! No, it's long pants! all in one package!

So far I've always taken a pair of Kuhl Kontra Air Pants with me.

They worked great, but thing is I lose weight round my waist on extended trips, so the pants get really loose. For my next trip, I'm thinking of switching to something with an elastic waist. Definitely not jogging pants, as they would be too warm and heavy, but something with an elastic waist and elastic ankles so I can ride my bike in them if I need to, and preferably with a pocket or two.

I carry REI Sahara pants. Ultra lightweight and look pretty decent after a day tightly rolled up (that's important) in a pannier. I also carry a Sahara shirt, short or long sleeve depending on weather.

I really like Railriders Adventure Khaki. Very lightweight. Nylon, but not stuffy feeling. Feel more like cotton. Pack down very small.
