Title: Tire dipping near Astoria, Oregon

I'm looking to start a XC trip in Astoria, Oregon. I would like to do the traditional rear tire dipping but I know that Astoria is not on the Pacific Ocean. Anyone of ideas where I can do a tire dipping?

A favorite spot is at the wreck of the Peter Iredale at Fort Stevens State Park.
Camping available including Hiker/Biker. 9 miles west of Astoria.
