Gear Talk / Full suspension 26 or 29er?

I'm looking for a new full suspension bike -- 26 or 29er -- to tow a BOB Yak on the Sierra Crest trail (and others later).  However, most miles will be spent on single tracks when not hauling anything.  Any recommendations for brands and models that will handle the heavy towing shile still being on the lighter side for a 63-year old cyclist?

I'm planning to ride the new and improved Sierra Crest trailer towing a BOB Yak.  Given that I will be towing the weight, not saddling the wheels with it, I'm thinking that 29-inch wheels on a full-suspension mountain bike should stand up to the ordeal.  Do you agree?  Disagree?  What about the types of rims, numbers of spokes, etc. I should look for?  Thanks.

Routes / Shuttle from Roosville MT to Banff

I've never bike toured before but would like to do the Great Divide Tour piece by piece starting in Banff.  I live in Corvallis, OR, 90 miles S of Portland.  The easiest way to get to Banff (the start) is by car (close to 900 miles), which I can do.  I can't figure out how to get back to Banff from Roosville, MT (200+ miles).  No train, bus, rental cars, tour companies do that.  I imagine I'll face that same challenge all along the route, though those parts closer to home will be less of a challenge (friends can help out).  I've looked all over the Ad. Cycle site and found nothing.  Help!  Where do you look for help with shuttles?  What resources do you recommend?
