General Discussion / MY OWN FRANCE TOUR

I did a 2 week tour (April 2005) with my brother of the Pryrennes (Andorra, Spain and France). I love to climb but it also a mecca for cyclists...great views, roads and some classic cols to bag. We did drop down into the south of France for a change of pace (read rest of the legs!) as well.

We didn{t book anything and always found a good place to stay for about US$70 a night (total).

General Discussion / Ola from Bolivia

Hi All,

The Eric and the great folks at REI Atlanta told me about this website. I am currently 1 week into a 6 wek solo tour of Bolivia. I am a Kiwi abut I have lived in Atlanta for most of the last 18 years.

I am riding a Novara Safari and with an Old man Low rider rack on the front...both are doing great. Eric and his mates at REI were a great help in getting me outfitted...I decided to go only a few days before my departure.

So far the trip has been amazing but not without minor mishaps (thats where the adventure comes from ...altitude sickness and a badly sprained hand BUT no regrets...its a most interesting adventure. I have to take a few days of the bike but I am going to head east via a small plane to check out the jungle.
