Yes.  No longer made.  These have been preserved in sealed bags.  I believe they were about $70 each when current if I remember correctly.  Excellent tires.

Custom touring/commuting disc wheelset built with silver Velocity Synergy O/C (off center) non machined rims and black DT Swiss 340 center lock disc hubs.  Rear is 135mm Q/R.  Front is 100mm Q/R.  Spokes are DT Swiss Competition 14/15 black double butted spokes.  32 spokes front and rear 3x lacing.  Extremely strong disc wheelset due to the off center rims used on both front and rear.  Perfect condition no scratches, dents, dings, or damage of any kind with less than 150 miles on them.  Velox rim tape installed. Classifieds / Stans Arch 29er Disc Wheelset DT Swiss White w/WTB Nano Tires New

Custom hand built 29er Disc wheel set: front and rear.  Built with white Stan's Arch 29er Disc 32 hole rims, black DT Swiss double butted 14/15 spokes, black nipples, and DT Swiss 340 center-lock disc hubs.  Front is 9mm Q/R and rear is 135mm Q/R.  Rims are tubeless compatible but have them mounted with tubes and a set of brand new WTB 2.1 Nano tires.  I had these wheels built for a project bike that never materialized and did not use them.  The build quality is second to none (builder has 25 years experience), extremely strong and true. $550 shipped CONUS.  Pictures available.  Thanks for reading.

For Sale:  Lynskey made Salsa Fargo 29er Titanium Frameset Version 2 with Salsa Steel fork and Syncros Headset. Size MEDIUM.  This is the last year the Ti Fargo was made by Lynskey before Salsa moved production to Taiwan and is version 2 with fender, rack mounts, and 3rd bottle mount.  It is designed for the Salsa V2 black steel touring fork (included) with bottle mounts, fender mounts, and low rider rack mounts.  Also included is a Syncros headset.  You also have the option of mounting an 80mm suspension fork (not included) if desired.  The frame was never used for touring.  I only had time to use it on some very mild trails and decided I would not be touring with it due to time constraints. Gear Talk / Fork and Frame Choices

Hello,

I am new to touring and setting up a steel 29er mountain frame.  I am interested in the effects of fork rake on stability and handling.  I currently am using a steel fork with a rake of 38mm.  The current fork is strong and comfortable and I have been happy with the handling of the bike unloaded.  But it has no braze ons for fenders or racks.  I was considering a Salsa Fargo fork with 50mm of rake as it has all the braze ons and fender mounts.  Although the top tube is longish and BB higher on my Fisher Ferrous, I did not think I would have to get a whole new frame (like the Fargo) for touring. Would I be better off with the current rake that I have or be ok with the Fargo fork?  I can get a new version of the fork I already have with full compliment of braze ons but would be pricier going this route. Right now I am not sure if I am going to do bike packing or fully loaded.  I believe I will be happier bike packing.  Any advice is appreciated.

For Sale-New set of Avid Shorty 6 low profile cantilever brakes--two sets--enough for one bike. These are the original Shorties--boomerang style solid arms. Nickel finish. Includes rim wrangler cartridge pads, mounting bolts, washers, and straddle cables.  I will throw in extra set of new stradle cables and extra cartridge pad as I no longer need them. All sets available with either Shimano or Campy freehub bodies and laced traditional 3x front and rear.  These wheelsets are super strong and durable and expertly built.  The DT Swiss 340s are extremely strong with star ratchet system and steel axles and use all sealed bearings.  Perfectly tensioned and stress relieved.
