I think the truck would do alright except for maybe the last bit into Del Norte (after La Garita). I was with a person from Del Norte and we still got confused and ended up on the airport's new runway. It's a short segment, so just send the truck to Del Norte for supplies or something, but you should ride it because it is interesting and fun. It's different catching air with panniers. I haven't been south of Del Norte yet. Have fun!

Awesome idea! Been looking for a route for after TGDR. Pavement doesn't sound so good to me!
