General Discussion / Bike shop in Nashville, Tn

I'm looking for a bike shop in Nashville that I can ship my bike to and ask them to assemble it for me.  I'm planning on riding the Natchez Trace and Nashville will be my starting point.  Any suggestions?

I live in Houston and ride all summer long.  It's really HOT here in the summer!  By 1:00pm in July I think I'm the only guy on a bicycle in the entire city.  The summer trip through the Great State of Texas can be done, but be ready!  Good luck.

Classifieds / Practice rides in S.E. Texas

I'm not ready to tour cross country yet, but I'm working on it.  Are there any adventure cyclists in the Houston area interested in doing some 50-70 mile day trips?  Most of the friends I ride with are good for about 25 miles and that's it.

There has been some talk on other forums regarding a national rally for touring cyclists.  I think it would be a great idea and I'm looking for others who might be interested in putting something like this together.  Any suggestions? Comments? Interested?
