They are all the newest versions. I bought them a few months ago and have been forced to cancel my trip. The maps were never used. I have the amendments for most of them already printed out.

I have the full Trans America Trail map set for sale. I bought them from someone on this forum and never used them. I think he said that he only used a few sections.

Make me an offer via email.

Hey all. I have a Garmin 800 cycling computer and am looking for advice on the best way to go about using the maps. I have a 32mb micro sd card.

1. Which maps do you recommend? Garmin's City Maps, Velo Maps, or Adventure Cycling's GPS map data?
2. If anyone has done a long trip with the 800, how often did you need to charge it? And how did you go about it?
3. Did you set up a trip using Basecamp or anything like that?
4. Overall, how accurate were the maps?
5. Would you recommend that 800? I love it as a cycling computer.

-Thanks
Matt

I'll be heading out to do the TransAm in early may. I'm going east to west coast.

How low should I go on my temp. rating? How cold of nights/mornings has everyone experienced?

I see the 636 number. Where are you located? I'm in St. Louis.

I'm also going to be heading out E-W in early May. Maybe we will all meet on the windy Mid-west plains where we can share a can of beans and tell ghost stories.  :D
