Great post, I have been looking to replace my old tires with some new Schwalbe's as well and have similar needs and riding styles. I really love the grip pattern of the marathon plus, as I have been riding all winter with the Marathon Winter studded tires, but the Supremes weigh as much for the pair as a single Plus. Looking forward to some more insight on this topic.

Give a look at the Eddie Bauer Nisqually pant. I could see myself wearing them into a restaurant or store if I was wearing rainwear. This is a tough one, there are so few choices. Even Showers Pass, who usually makes stylish rainwear, is lacking anything waterproof.

The SKS Longboard 45 will still work with a 37mm tire width. I routinely use them with a 38mm tire for winter commuting with no issues. The real treat to these fenders are the extended length, on very wet roads there is little to no spray on the crank or shoes which is a very nice feature.
