General Discussion / HELP!

I am currently cycling the Southern Tier route and finally made it through Tempe! On my way to Apache Jct I somehow lost my map and I'm stuck in Mesa, AZ. Is anyone willing to scan and email the section 2 maps and info. I have everything else. I just lost the one map. I will be forever grateful. I'm hoping to continue on tomorrow...

Routes / Southern Tier- The Deatails

Hi Everyone-

I am starting the Southern Tier route (W-E) on April 1st. I am about to buy my plane ticket and trying to figure out a few small details. I would like to ship my bike to a bike shop near the beginning of the route so they can put it together and have it ready when I arrive. Any suggestions? I am planning on arriving 1 or 2 days early. Any recommended places to stay near the beginning of the route that perhaps many other bikers have stayed before me? Should I take a taxi from the airport or is there a better way to get where I'm going?
