Excellent response, thank you adventurepdx.  We hadn't considered the cost factors of international shipping and customs, something to definitely research.

Bellingham does sound like a reasonable alternative, we'll look into that too.

The plan this September is to take Amtrak from our home in Oregon up to Vancouver, B.C. and essentially ride home via the Pacific Coast Route.  Unfortunately, it appears my long-wheel-base recumbent is not going to be welcome on Amtrak, so I am looking for anyone who can recommend a bike shop or other destination near the Vancouver Amtrak station where I can ship my bike and have it waiting for me when I get there.

Is there anybody out there who has had personal experience with this particular logistical challenge?

Gear Talk / Rack mounted tail lights

I'm having a terrible time finding a rack-mounted tail light, since everything on the market these days seems to be designed to mount on a seat post or drop tube, or even on clothing.  Can anyone recommend a tail light that is designed to be mounted on the rear rack using a bolt through the mounting hole provided on a rack?
