Not surprising-They say three to four weeks for delivery, which is essentially "never" in this day and age. I'm leaving  next week. Dont think I need a map as I was able to find Ride With GPS file of the route. I can make up a cue sheet from the  route, or, easier option-on another web site I found all the street names in sequence (no mileages), which I think will be sufficient. I also will carry the relevant pages of the Delorme map.

Thanks. Yes, I have the Delorme. That NC DOT bicycle highways and scenic byways also look to be great resources-thanks!

Looking for suggestions for nice routes from Greensboro to Boone. I am flying into Greensboro and planning rides around Boone and Asheville. If there are no nice routes I will just bus.

A little off topic... Is southern portion of SC passable in mid March? I am looking at, say from where it intersects Southern Tier, to where it gets close to LA, near San Bernadino or Burbank.

Flagstaff a little cold, yes. South of that temps are a bit more amenable. Would still consider a trip out there if there were enough options for day rides in the Sedona/Verde Valley area.

Routes / Grand Canyon Connector in mid March

Am considering cycling GCC mid March; possibly an out-and back from Phoenix, or could put together a loop. From what I've found searching this forum, it seems that the North Rim is the only  section, with possible or likely cold/snow. Is that correct? Any route suggestions are welcome. I only have a week, and am also considering day trips from fixed location.
