Gear Talk / tent and pad help

looking for tent recommendations...will be travelling alone...big guy 6' 220 lbs. probably within april thru oct time frame. also which sleeping pad and how thick? looking for comfort/weight tradeoff. Tour will be approx 1200 miles thanx in advance.

Gear Talk / STI shifters for XT drivetrain?

I have STI/Campy ergo on most of my bikes, but on my Atlantis I went with DuraAce bar cons...I am very glad I did...for a million reasons, but mostly with the friction option, I am sure they will always work, no matter where I am...my 2 cents....

very cool site...I love my atlantis...bought it for touring...found that I ride it almost all the time...basically every ride but the fast group rides.
