I don't have written cues but I can email you the gpx track from that day and the other three days of the detour if you are interested.  We rode the Flathead Forest Service Road for about 35 miles from the Butts Cabin turnoff east towards Waterton, it was in very good condition.  The Akamina Pass road/trail was in good condition although a little overgrown until just before the pass where we had to walk around a bunch of mud bogs.

Let me know where to email the files if you want them.

I would definitely recommend the Inside North Fork Road between Apgar and Polebridge.  We rode it as part of a detour in July that included Waterton NP and Glacier NP.  The Inside North Fork Road was in very good condition and even the washed out part is mostly rideable.  We saw two black bears but only for a few seconds.

You can see the details of our detour at http://routes.bergersride.com- we went off route near the Butts Cabin, entered Waterton from the west, crossed the border at Chief Mountain, rode the Going to the Sun road east to west and then the Inside N Fork Road to Polebridge.  It was one of the highlights of our trip so far.

We rode the Wamsutter route about a week ago and it was one of the highlights of the trip so far, I would highly recommend it.  I have updated this map https://goo.gl/UEvfeG with all of the water sources we found.

- We camped by the Sweetwater River which was flowing strongly.
- Keep an eye out for the Diagnus Well, its hard to see from the road.
- The reservoir on Bison Basin Rd is not on the actual race route, its on the short road alternative which connects to the race route.
- Camped at the solar well on Bison Basin Rd, it was not pumping while we were there but plenty of water, was cloudy and rainy so maybe the solar panels needed more sun.
- The solar well on Wamsutter-Crooks Gap Rd looks temporary, the panels were on a trailer, right next to the road, pumping with plenty of water
- Wamsutter has a Loves truck stop and good Mexican restaurant but not much else, pretty grim
- The only water we saw between Wamsutter and Savery was a small pond, about a quarter mile off the road, we didn't need it but access would be difficult
- The terrain between Wamsutter and Savery is much more difficult than Atlantic City to Wamsutter and virtually no water, carry as much as you can

Routes / Re: Note about GDMBR Warm River rail trail on map 2a

We rode this section a few weeks ago, the sand isn't bad but it is very badly washboarded.  We got off the trail after a couple of miles and rode mostly parallel gravel roads with very little traffic.  These roads were close enough to see most of the rail trail.  We got back on above the Warm River Canyon which is the best part.  Details of this alternate route are at http://routes.bergersride.com

We passed thru here a couple of days ago.  This closure was not in effect yet so we got thru, but there is another closure south of Ovando on Huckleberry Pass. The road is signed as closed but it IS open to cyclists.  We spoke to one of the road crew guys and he said they will help cyclists across the construction zone if needed.

Based on the TD cue sheets I think this is the location: https://goo.gl/UEvfeG

If anyone who has actually been there could confirm that would be great.
