Thanks! We are in Ordway now. Looking forward to crossing the halfway as we cycle east tomorrow morning.

Routes / TransAm Halfway Point?

Anyone know the exact 1/2 halfway point for the TransAm? Adventure Cycling indicates it is Pueblo and the TransAm bike race indicates it is just before Newton KS. Anyone know the exact answer down to a town?

Routes / What is Your Favorite Cross Country Route and Why?

We are blessed with many options for Adventure cycling routes across the country. If you have done or are thinking of cycling cross country on an Adventure Cycling route which do you want to do? Why? Love hills, hate hills, heat, cold, tailwinds, too long, too short, favorite bakeries, like the football teams in the state you’d ride through. Whatever your reason I’d love to hear your thoughts.

General Discussion / Re: What about travel other country to cycling?

This is somewhat of an indirect answer but you could get a sense for touring in other countries by reading some of the blogs on CrazyGuyOnABike (https://www.crazyguyonabike.com/). I think there are over 2,000 blogs on Europe. Eurovelo has a list of cycling routes (http://www.eurovelo.org/) but I can't speak for them myself. How about if you cycle in Europe and report back to us?
