Whatever happened to the daily or weekly picture feature from the old ACA website? It was rather drool worthy...I guess it was jettisoned for the 'gram?

I think it depends on where I am traveling as well. I'd make at least one photocopy of each document and keep them stored separately for an emergency.

Most bike shops in Germany will also rent as well, you can easily email ahead and ask. Also, look at https://www.adfc.de/auf-tour/#radtourenplanung/!116. I am happy to help you navigate the German or locate a place that will rent.

I am thinking to retrace part of your route - at least into Wyoming until I can pick up the TransAmerica. What route did you take out of SLC? Did you have to ride on I80 or I84?

I have to go from Salt Lake City to Kansas City. Thoughts on heading east to pick up the Trans America or South to pick up the Great Parks South and then head east. Anyone made this connection? Recommendations?

Basically because I really have never travelled in some of those states along the northern border. My wife and I are both avid cyclists - just looking for the tandem experience.

If you are touring in Europe no reason to mess with a liquid fuel stove. Fuel cartridges are ubiquitous throughout Western Europe and relatively inexpensive.
