Routes / Bike Shop recommendation in St. Augustine, FL

Considering dropping my bike off when done with the Southern Tier at a bike shop for packing and shipping.  I would schedule a Bikeflights pickup at the bike shop.  Anyone know of a good bike shop around the area to contact?  I would be flying home from Jacksonville, so in-between would work.

Thanks for the reply.  Looking at 50-70 per day averaging about 60, 52 days riding and about 8 rest days for a total of about 60 days.

I think it depends on how many miles a day you plan on shooting for, given that days are shorter and mornings are colder. I'll be following the replies here since I'm thinking of the same thing!

Routes / Southern Tier - East to West Timing

Intending to do the Southern Tier early next year.  Was initially planning West to East, but now considering East to West.  I have read all the info on the site, including the statement" "... westbound departures could occur as early as February to be across the desert by the end of April. "

Is early Feb or mid-Feb a better time to plan on starting th etrip?
