Hi Bill! It's been a great bike for me. I rode the GAP trail with it last year and it performed flawlessly. Wished I could have ridden a greater distance with it. I have accepted a new job in which I spend most of my free time commuting to and from and just don't have time for it anymore. Perhaps I'll reconsider.
The bike rides better heavily loaded than it does with no load at all and I'm sure you'll love yours! Best touring bike I've ever owned (I've owned quite a few!). My mechanic likes it enough to have offered to buy the frame to use for cross. I politely said no thank you. I felt the bike deserved a better life than that!

2012 Gunnar Grand Tour Cyclocross Touring TRP Brakes Size 60 - $1899 plus shipping(NWPA)
Selling a 2012 Gunnar Grand Tour. This bike is made for touring but also would make for an excellent Cyclocross bike. Awesome build:
About 1200 total miles.

TRP Levers
TRP CX8.4 CNC'd Linear brakes.
Bar end shifters.

Like new bike with no damage dings or dents. Very low gearing makes climbing a breeze.
I just bought a brand-new set of TRP CX 8.4 Linear brakes which were just installed. These brakes are top of the line for cross and will lock up the rear wheel, giving you confidence on a large down hill with a heavy load at 40 mph! As good as discs but much lighter.
The pictures show an A319 wheel on the front with a Schmidt dynamo hub. I would be keeping this and installing the other A719.
Made in Waterford, Wisconsin by the the old Schwinn Paramount factory. This bike is ready to go anywhere and do anything. This is one sweet rig and the more weight you put on it the better it rides! Check out the Gunnar website: http://gunnarbikes.com/site/

Believe this is a 2008 Surly LHT. Selling it for a friend who is now onto his next adventure. It's super clean and nice. Can't find a nick, dent, or bump on it! The largest difference between this and a stock Trucker is the cockpit. This one has trekking style bars with Shimano Thumbies. Very comfy and your hands can change positions a good bit. Nice area for the handle bar bag which is Topeak and an Axiom low rider rack. The rear rack is Topeak with a Topeak Clik in top bag. Also has a Satori suspension seatpost. Specs very similar to the newest model with exception of a Sugino triple. Original drops are included if you wish to go back to stock. Comes with Cateye Strada Wireless Computer, Planet Bike Cascadia fenders and "blinky"!
Saddle stays with me! Sorry. Bike measures 56 c to c or 58 c to top. Standover averages 32.25 in.
