Connecting ACA Routes / Northern Tier to Southern Tier, NY State to Southern California

Hi everyone. I'm wondering if anyone has gone from the northeast to southern California (San Diego area) connecting the Northern Tier route and the Southern Tier route for the most straight forward trip. I'd pick up the Northern route somewhere between Syracuse and the Finger Lakes, and would go from there. Thanks for any help.
