Classifieds / Maps for sale: Northern Tier, TransAmerica, Lewis&Clark

Just finished my tour - I ended up changing my route signitificantly...  it was a combination of Northern Tier, Lewis & Clark, and TransAmerica, but ended up as Northern Tier, some Amtrak, and some wandering around out west.  Great trip!

I have the following maps available for sale - all are in excellent, or brand new condition:

Northern Tier Section 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3
Lewis & Clark Section 4, 5
TransAmerica Section 1, 2, 3

My Specialized Avatar didn't quite working out on my shakedown ride this weekend... has anyone tried one of the crazy looking Selle SMP saddles?

Gear Talk / 4 Front (small) panniers?

Does anyone tour with 4 front (typically small) panniers instead of 2 fronts and 2 rears?  I'm going to pack my sleeping bag in a drybag and leave it on the rack in back, so I don't think I need any more than 4 small panniers + a handlebar bag.

My long distance backpacking experience is saying "minimalism" but everything I read about gear lists says, "lots of stuff."  Thoughts?

Gear Talk / Touring bike specialists? Northeast?

I'm looking for a shop that specializes (at least somewhat) in touring bikes in the northeast?  Any suggestions?
