Routes / Atlantic Coast route

In 2010, my partner and  I (Australians) cycled the Northern Tier and every day was filled with wonder. Breathtaking vistas, beautiful country roads, kind and generous people. We wanted to come back and cycle the Atlantic Coast. We left Miami, Fl 22 June. And again, every day has been sensational. Cycling south to north, we have been on the look out for pirates, then followed the tragic Civil War trail to your glorious capital Washington DC. Now we are in the rolling green hills of Pennsylvania. Every day we say to ourselves, ACA - thank you thank you thank you for these wonderful maps. It is like cycling with your very best friend who knows the most beautiful local route to take you. We love this country so much.

Mid-Atlantic / Atlantic Coast section 3 Map 30 Delta

We're cycling the Atlantic Coast route heading north. After a day of climbing, we decided to stay at the Stonewall Inn, Delta. It is a wonderful B and B owned by Theresa and Bob. Yesterday, there was flash flooding in the area and a torrential downpour, so we stayed an extra night. To entertain us, Theresa and Bob took us to Lancaster on a sight seeing tour. We spent a fabulous day with them and consider this a highlight of our trip. If you're passing, call in. The directions and contact details are on your maps.

South Atlantic / Accommodation in Moncks Corner, SC

We're in Moncks Corner, on the Atlantic Coast route and there's not a lot of accommodation. Fortunately, we called in at the Visitors Centre and discovered that the owner of the Holiday Inn Express Charleston-Moncks Corner 505 Rembert C Dennis Blvd Moncks Corner, SC 29461 is one of the organisers of the Warriors Ride - a supported cycle for disabled veterans.
