ACA Mobile Route Apps / Latest (2/20) App update
« on: February 27, 2020, 11:19:32 am »
The latest update seems to have a change in the way “dropping pins” works to determine point to point distances and elevation profile.   Now, the first pin dropped is the end point, and the second one is the start point.   This “enhancement” is counter-intuitive, and makes the app way less user friendly when using the app to plan upcoming day’s rides.   Previous to the update, the first pin dropped was the start point, and the last dropped was the end point, with direction of travel, gain/loss presented in the way encountered on the road.  The “old way” was way more useful.  Any chance to restore the functionality ?

Wildwood Drive is closed to through traffic 1/4 mile north of its southern intersection with US 101,due to bridge reconstruction.  As of August 5, 2018, there was no walk around option; it looks like it will be closed for several months for construction.  Stay on US 101.

ACA Mobile Route Apps / New Navigator App/old purchases
« on: February 11, 2018, 09:58:46 pm »
How does one transfer/access map segments purchased through the  “old” mobile apps (e.g. Pacific Coast, TransAmerica) into the new Navigator App?

How does one get maps purchased for the new Apps to show on more than one device?-for example, I would like to have the maps on my iPad for planning, and on my iPhone when riding the route.

We passed through here October 9, 2016, and the bridge was closed due to a fire.  Local news reports said the fire was "suspicious".  I haven't been able to find any information regarding rebuilding, etc.  We walked across the burnt bridge-definitely NOT recommended.
