Gear Talk / GDMBR on fatbike?

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum so please go easy on me if I this has been discussed before!

I am an exchange student and will be studying from september to may in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Afterwards I am thinking about riding the Grand Divide MTB Trail. Hence the fatbike question

So what do you guys think? Will I be ok on one of these?
