Classifieds / Wanted: Fork for Rocky Mountain Sherpa 10, 2007 vintage

Hi all, I've recently acquired a 2007 Rocky Mountain Sherpa 10 frame...and I'm looking for a compatible fork with disc brake mount.

If you have, or can point me in the direction where I could get said fork, please advise.

Connecting ACA Routes / Alternate start to Alleghaney Mts Loop route

Hi all, I am planning to do the Alleghaney Mts Loop route in October...
Coming from Canada, I am assuming that starting/ending from Glady, WV would be more logical as I'll be driving in from the north...driving down to Blacksburg just to ride a couple of hundred KM's north and south again seems a waste of time.
Can anyone here advise on any disadvantages to this alternative start/end?
Also, according to the weather stats, it's certainly colder in Oct than in Sept in VA/WV (and it appears that Oct has the lowest average rainfall for the average year)...that said, has anyone here rode this route during October...and if so, can you share your experience?

Gear Talk / LKLM & Krangear

Hi all, been looking around for a good deal on a new or used cromo touring frameset...
In my online travels, I found a company called LKLM Krangear out of China.  They sell touring bikes and accessories.

I've never heard of them until now, and there is little if any anicdotal information out there by owners.

Their product looks like it's decent quality (frames are made from Reynolds 725 CroMo tubes, and have all the required brazeons...).

Does anyone here have any experience with this company?  I'm seriously thinking of buying one of their framesets...as the price is right...
