Routes / Internet on the Cross Country

I have noticed that many of the hotels along the way are not brand name hotels.  For those of you that travel and stay in hotels, do you find the majority of them have Internet Access? Anyone tried the 3G laptop plans?

Routes / Best Cross Country Route with Hotels ever 50-70 miles

Is there any route you would recommend that would put in hotels about every 50-70 miles?  I ride a trike and that is the most I want to travel in one day.  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

General Discussion / Looking for Cross Country Tour Group that accepts Trikes

Hi.

I want to travel coast to coast but being a newbie I wanted to do it on an organized tour group.  The only 2 I have found have said they do not accept trikes on the route.  Does anyone know of other groups that do? Thanks.
