Routes / Great Divide Elk Valley Trail

I just completed the GDMBR and would like to comment on the Elk Valley Trail from Elko to Elkford in the Canada Section. The route is marked as a bike path with little round dots. It should be marked as single track. The 100 mile trail is poorly maintained with downed trees and washed out bridges. Navigation and finding trail markers can be challenging. Unlike the bike trail from Banff to Canmore (that has the same dotted marking) the EVT is no picnic.

General Discussion / TransAm starting from Yorktown Memorial Day Weekend 2018

Greetings fellow cyclists! I will be departing Yorktown May 26th heading west on the TransAm. I have started a blog with a planned itinerary and equipment list here: https://rustycrankc2c.blogspot.com
I know of one other cyclist who intends to start from Yorktown the same weekend. Are there any others? We would be interested to start a Facebook group to share info and such. It would be great to hear from east-bounders as well.
