Routes / Rhode Island to Bar Harbor, Maine. fully loaded tour

My partner and I will cycle fully loaded road bikes from Westerly, RI to Bar Harbor, Maine this summer. We explored the ACA Atlantic Coast route. It veers well west into Connecticut from RI. We'd like to travel along the coast as much as possible. There is Boston and Providence, RI to navigate. We're both very tolerant of traffic. I road C to C , solo 2021.

Other's thoughts and experiences for a route?

Routes / Touring Baja California to Cabo San Lucas

Hi Folks;

Has anybody toured from Tijuana down to Cabo San Lucas (and back), along the Sea of Cortez? If so, how were the roads, water supplies, access to supplies, food, etc? I prefer paved roads.

Any suggestions for a fairly good size handlebar bag (touring, not bikepacking) with a map pocket on top that can be attached to Carbon Handlebars??

General Discussion / gravel bike or traditional touring for coast to coast

Hi All;

This may seem redundant, but I'm exploring and deliberating about what geometry/build to use for a coast to coast tour, self sustained.
I likely will carry 30-40 lbs on a rear rack as an estimate ( not sure about a front rack). I like the concept of a gravel/touring that affords multiple use after the tour.
I'm concerned about long enough chain-stay and heel strike as well as weight distribution.

Thoughts and suggestions?
