Routes / GDMBR missing gpx file Update:FOUND

Hi, I am in the final stage of planning (😂) and noticed an alternate route on the Helena - Colter Bay Village section near Warm River. I cannot find the .gpx file in the map catalogue. Can anyone shed light on this alternate?

Light has been shed😁

I received a reply from the ACA saying that the altn route was in the latest gpx bundle. I re-downloaded the file and sent the info to my mapping app,GAIA gps. The route didn’t show up clearly until I changed the colour to red. It was probably there all the time. D’oh.

Routes / Antelope Wells Shuttle?

I know I’m getting ahead of myself, however given the unlikely chance that I do reach Antelope Wells, what are the shuttle options for getting out of there? Gotta plan for ALL eventualities.

General Discussion / GDMBR Helena to Basin alternate route advice

G’day, I was looking at the alternate route into Basin as the main trail seems very cut up and rocky in parts. Problem is that the alternate seems to run on the Interstate for quite a way. Has anyone ridden this route that can help? Cheers.

Hi, I’ve decided on a start date of June 30th from Whitefish and looking for a recommendation on cell phone companies. Is there one standout, or is it six of one, half a dozen of the other? I was intending to purchase an E-sim prior to leaving Australia. Thank you.
