General Discussion / Parterner(s) for cross-US trip late summer 2010

I'm planning to bike across the states starting from Boston. I'd prefer to go with 1 or 2 other people. Any suggestions on where to look for biking partners? 29F, 100 mi/day

Any thoughts on whether Aug makes a good starting month?
