Thanks for the info...what does "relatively" safe mean? I like the idea of warmshowers, cause its cyclist to cyclist, you can read their profile and you can extend the favor to other cyclists. This is my biggest concern traveling alone.

interesting idea. my friend is already a cop and is certified cyclist. i think you should use it on your resume whatever your occupation. it tells much about your character...and maybe that you're a little crazy (in a good way).

I will be a solo traveler. Any suggestions for secure accommodations, not far off the beaten path? I was going to purchae the ACA map and am looking for some feedback regarding.
