I've ridden just about every style bent out there for years. The only 2 styles I felt were adequate for light offroad use are, crankforwards by Rans and tadpole trikes(2 leading wheels, 1 trailing). These 2 designs still offer decent low speed, maneuverability over lwb, swb and highracers, the tadpole trike for obvious reasons.

The $$ spent on the new touring rig for an upcoming trip is killing me, plus I'm currently unemployed..some may say thats being irresponsible but it keeps me sane

Always wanted to do this one on a bicycle. Hwy 12 is amazing!
