We have only flown with Iceland Air with bags. They show it on their site. I use queen size bags and cut them down. I get them at a mattress store.

We are leaving for Denmark in about 2 weeks. Flying Iceland Air as they have a generous bike box allowance. I work pt in a bike shop so I got 2 ebike boxes then reinforced the interior sides and bottom by gluing cardboard in running the opposite direction. OCD maybe but....
In the US TSA will open the boxe and put a bit of tape back on. So I bought cheap 1" webbing and buckles to make the box easy to open and close.
This is the second time doing this because we had to leave the first set of boxes in Helsinki as we rode to Amsterdam. We also carried plastic mattress bags for that flight home as I did not want to run around trying to find a box and then get it back to where we were staying. This process allows us to ride to the airport and prep our bike in a quiet corner.

I work in a bike shop and often use our pumps, Giant Brand, to get tires up to 120psi with no problem.

The COVID-19 Virus seems to be the default excuse for bad service wherever you go.
Amtrak is quite poorly run and there is no excuse for them not having the ability to properly communicate their policies. The IT people might dtill be working from home so they are safe.
Yep, I'm no more Amtrak for our travels. We rent 1 way rental vehicles and not dependent on incompetance.

0n my LHT I started with flat bars then switched to butterfly when we rode across the US. I did not like the brake lever setup especially on fast descents. I could not keep my hands spread out. Switched to Crazy Bars for riding across Canada and for 3 European trips and other US tours.
They are fantastic!

Wondering if anyone here uses one? I would need to use the 3M stick on part as I don't have the "right" phone.
