Canada / Shipping bikes from Canada to USA

Can anyone advise on shipping bikes back to the USA from Canada? Appropriate process & cost.

Routes / Florida Keys in March, How To Beat The Minimum of Two Nights

First time cycling the keys in March and plan to stay in B&B's, hotel or motel versus the camping route but are finding it difficult to keep moving on everyday due to two night minmums required. Does anyone know of lodging along the way that might work for only one night? We're two couples willing to take 1 or 2 rooms if need be and can be flexible where we stop. Thanks.

What is the experience of the need of reservations at this time of year? My wife and I will be traveling west to east from the Pacific Ocean to Missoula MT at least. Would rather not have a structured schedule of where we will stay ahead of time but some towns have limited choices. Since this trip will be credit card touring can we play it by ear and see how it goes with distance, weather & sightseeing or would it be wise to reserve a room in advance? How difficult will it be to get a room as a walki-in at this time of year, August to be exact?

Routes / 83 Miles on the Lewis & Clark route

My wife and I are doing a credit card tour along the Lewis and Clark Route starting on the coast and depending on weather, equipment etc will end up somewhere in Montana (Missoula at least!). Should I assume the limited services stretch between Biggs OR and Umatilla OR have remained the same, still limited without any lodging? Early August is our departure.

Gear Talk / Lower gearing

Before my wife and I venture out along the Lewis and Clark route from the coast to Great falls MT, I would love to get her to a lower gear, 18" if possible or at least into the low 20's is OK. Currently have a Vaya 2 with a low gear of 30.4" from a SRAM Apex 36/48T compact double crankset and a SRAM Apex 11-32 cassette. Considering switching to a triple crank thinking that she will then also need to change her front SRAM Apex braker/shifter to a bar end shifter OR is there another reasonable option? Any thoughts or advise?
