Does anyone have any advice on how to raise moeny to make our event possible? Since we are biking the Transamerica trail for a cause how would we go about raising the moeny? Advice Please!!

General Discussion / Starting Transamerica Trail on June 8th

Me and my fellow classmate(age 17 and 18) from rural Pennsylvania are biking the Transamerica Trail West to East starting on June 8th for our Senior Project. We are doing the ride to raise money for the AHA. We are welcome to advice and anyone wanting to ride with us. Please feel free to comment with advice!!!

A friend and I with no experience are biking the trans am trail this summer starting on june10th. We are seniors in high school and find this very daunting but want to do it!!! Any advice?
our biggest fear is underpacking and maybe running out of water??? would this be an issue? Advice is appreciated!!!

General Discussion / Traveling transamerica trail next year, need advice!!!

next summer, starting on June 8th, 2013, A friend and I are biking across the US following the trans america trial. We will be riding to raise money for the American Heart Association. We are 17 and 18 year old high school students from rural Pennsylvania. Our event is called Bike For Heart Health. If you have any advice on how to raise money and get sponsors please feel free to contact me.
