Routes / Re: Murphysboro, IL to St. Louis, MO

Hi,
We recently road that stretch west to east.  We went from St. Louis via the Chain of Rocks bridge to Ste. Genevieve on 61 to Illinois via the Moduc ferry. We then travelled along rural roads to Chester and from Chester to Cave of Rocks.  We did create a blog and have included maps of our daily route segments.  Take a peek as the route may be of interest to you.  http://rwnetworks.blogspot.ca

We have just returned from a cycle tour which included the Natchez Trace.  We loved the Trace and would highly recommend it...great roads, safe riding, great camping - FREE camping, shade and friendly folk.  You definitely need to leave the Trace to stock up on food or find restaurants...so it really depends on your style of touring.  Feel free to visit our blog as we have included many pictures from the Trace.  Happy Cycling!  http://rwnetworks.blogspot.ca

Routes / Re: Great Rivers route or Mississippi River Trail?

Hello,
We have just returned from cycling the Mississippi River Trail.  We travelled north to south from Fargo North Dakota to the headwaters of the Mississippi River in Itasca State Park and then on to New Orleans.  We actually combined both the Great Rivers route and the Mississippi River Trail.  Visit our blog at http://rwnetworks.blogspot.ca - we have included maps for each of our sections.
