General Discussion / route may have changed but not the mission
« on: July 05, 2009, 02:18:00 pm »
now that I've received VA Ohio's support.
on my big ride they have asked me to change my route to Ohio regional area (southern Mi, eastern Ind., western Pa, and northern Ky) instead of Ohio to dallas
they in turn will take care of my SAG vehicle, hotel, food and misc. exp.
so I've got a list with about 9 hosp. and 30 outpatient centers on it.
is there some way to do this online? instead of with all of these paper maps this is driving me nuts

I'm taking the UGRR south from Milford Ohio to Waverly Tennessee  or further south if there is a better way other than the southern connector route to Dallas Texas?
just looking for something better if there is anything?

I'm trying to reroute my big ride and running in to a few problems.
is there a better route than taking the U.G.R.R. south all the way to Mississippi and Louisiana? They are both kind of out of my way.
my question is? is there a shorter route once I take the UGRR to TENNESSEE to TEXAS?

yes it helps allot and thank you now I have another question for you.
which of the southern tier routes should I take to get me close to dallas tx. and do you have a route that will get me into dallas itself?

Lee
Hi,

The Northern Tier Route Section 9 goes through Cleveland. If you follow it eastbound, you will connect with the Underground Railroad Route Section 4 in Ashtabula, OH to begin your journey south.

I hope that helps.

.Jennifer.

I've already got my U.G.R.R. maps for my Cleveland to Alabama. But, I still need to figure out what aill be the best way for me to get to Dallas, Texas. Using the southern tier I see that it will get me to Texas. But, what is the best way for me to get to Dallas? Just wing it or is there a route? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

How have you learned everything you need to do to get such a ride together? Just figure it out as you go along? Done it before? Know someone who's done it?

nope never even thought about doing this before. just kept asking people and eventually came up with an answer
