Routes / Newport Oregon to Ontario Oregon

it might be the most direct route but not necessarily the best... though
considering the highway infra=-structure in this part of state ur pretty

u can expect to share the road with log-trucks and rv buses/ trailers
escpecially from newport to corvallis.   depending when u leave u'll also
hve some heavy weekenders to the beach.  that stretch is pretty narrow
and serpentine in spots and not much shoulder.  i believe the road is
posted    bicycle use but still it's pretty nasty in a few spots.

nice ride though   u can expect some drizzle and or rain depending

have fun

i plan to bike from dc to seattle beginning in june sometime and was
wondering about roads.... detest freeway interstates and dont know if the
midwest and dakota area have scenic byways instead of freeways... i think
i am just going to pour over some maps from AC and give them a gander
