Gear Talk / Bianchi? Trek? Bruce Gordon?

I have put about 5000 miles on my Trek 520 and am very happy with it. It is not a race bike, but a touring bike is about comfort and reliability. I have used it for comuting, exercise and 500 mile loaded ride down the Natchez trace and it has met my needs with no problems at a reasonable cost.

General Discussion / anyone biked across the US in 15 days or less?

Food/water are probably the heaviest things that you will cary on a trip like that. When I did the Southern route there were times when I needed 3 2 liter bladers to get from one water stop to the next.
